ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The #4 Saint Leo University men's tennis team earned a quality Sunshine State Conference victory on Friday at Eckerd. The Lions won all but one doubles court en route to a 7-0 win. Saint Leo improves to 13-3 overall and 5-1 in SSC play while Eckerd falls to 10-6 overall and 1-5 in conference matches.

Saint Leo got off to a great start claiming the doubles point, 2-1. The second ranked doubles pair of Jose David Segovia and Kodai Kato won 6-1 at number one doubles. After Eckerd tied the doubles play at 1-1, 21st ranked doubles pair of Eduardo Cohen and Shay Sarfati clinched the doubles point for the visitors with a 6-3 win at number two doubles.

The Lions won all six singles courts in pretty easy fashion as only on set was in favor of the home team. Eduardo Cohen rallied for wins in the second and third set to clinch the victory for the Green & Gold.
