SAINT LEO, Fla. - The 15th-ranked Saint Leo University men's tennis team closed out its week with a 4-0 win over the University of Charleston (W.Va.). The Lions improved to 5-1 with the win.
The Lions earned the doubles point for the early 1-0 lead.
Dylan Andrianaly and
Filippo Caporali won 6-2 at number two doubles. The team point was clinched at number three doubles as
Eduardo Cohen and
Shay Sarfati earned a 6-3 decision.
Saint Leo went up 2-0 with a win by retirement at number one singles. Jose David Segoiva put the Lions up 3-0 with a 6-0 and 6-1 win at number two singles.
Kodai Kato clinched the victory for the Lions with a pair of 6-3 set victories at number four singles. Â
