SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's soccer team put together a dominant performance on Wednesday night, earning a 4-0 Sunshine State Conference (SSC) victory over Embry-Riddle at University Field. This outing marked the first time since 2022 that the Lions notched four goals in a game and the first time in a conference game since 2021 that Saint Leo tallied four scores.
The Lions controlled the match from start to finish, outshooting the Eagles 18-3 while holding the visitors to just one shot on goal.

Juan David Hoffman opened the scoring in the 30th minute, finishing a setup from sophomore
Luis Gaitan to give Saint Leo a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. The Lions carried their momentum into the second half, where senior
Adam Yousfi caught fire with back-to-back goals in the 47th and 52nd minutes. Sophomore
Juan Jimenez and senior
Anel Rojas provided the assists on Yousfi's strikes to push the Lions' advantage to 3-0.
Rojas capped the scoring in the 65th minute, converting on a pass from senior
Yuto Komine to make it 4-0 in favor of Saint Leo.
Defensively, redshirt senior goalkeeper
James Knudson recorded the shutout while the back line—anchored by sophomore
Viktor Danielsson and senior
Shotaro Kino—kept Embry-Riddle's attack in check throughout the night.
Saint Leo finished with 11 shots on goal compared to just one from the Eagles.
The Lions return to action on Saturday, October 25 as they travel to face Flagler in a non-conference game, starting at 7 p.m.
