Brady Corso, the Lions fell to the Tritons, 89-86, as Eckerd completed the season sweep of Saint Leo in 2024-25. The Lions drop to 8-12 overall and 3-9 in SSC play, while the Tritons improve to 9-11 overall and 4-8 in conference play.
Corso led the Lions offense with 36 points, his second 20+ point outing of his young career and first 30+ point game. The Lions saw three others hit double digit figures as
Tae Wilson had 16 points,
Camden Cerese totaled 13 points and
Logan Ryan add 11 points. As a team, the Lions outscored the Tritons 51-43 in the second half and totaled 10 more points in the paint that the host team, 34-24.

- Saint Leo fell 89-86 to Eckerd in a tightly contested Sunshine State Conference matchup, despite outscoring the Tritons 51-43 in the second half.
- Brady Corso delivered a career-high 36 points, shooting 7-of-13 from three-point range and 7-of-8 from the free-throw line to keep the Lions within reach.
- Tae Wilson contributed 16 points and five rebounds, including a layup in the final seconds to bring Saint Leo within three.
- Camden Cerese added 13 points and three steals, providing key defensive plays to fuel the second-half comeback attempt.
- Eckerd's Isaiah Placide led all scorers with 28 points, including four three-pointers, while hitting clutch free throws in the final seconds.
- The Tritons controlled the boards, outrebounding Saint Leo 38-27, including 29 defensive rebounds that limited second-chance opportunities.
- The Lions shot an efficient 81.5% (22-of-27) from the free-throw line but struggled from three, making 33.3% (8-of-24) of their attempts.
- Saint Leo forced 12 turnovers and turned them into 21 points, but Eckerd's 10 three-pointers and 53.6% field-goal shooting proved too much to overcome.
