#3 Men's Tennis Defeats Mississippi College 6-1 for Top 10 Victory

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The third-ranked Saint Leo men's tennis team extended its win streak to seven matches with a 6-1 victory over #7 Mississippi College on Wednesday afternoon. The Lions improved to 13-1 on the season while the Choctaws fall to 7-4 with their fourth straight loss.

The Lions earned wins at number one and three doubles to clinch the doubles point with back-to-back 6-1 victories.
 
Vincent Thiel earned a singles win at number two to put the Lions up 2-0. The Choctaws lone victory on the day came at number one singles. Nicolas Bacella won 6-2 and 6-4 to put the Lions up 3-1 and Ghali Mensour clinched the match for the home team with a wins in the second and third set. Luis Iriarte and Dylan Andrianaly closed out the match with wins at number six and five singles to give the Lions a 6-1 win over number 7.
