SAINT LEO, Fla - The Saint Leo Lions clashed with the Embry-Riddle Eagles in a game that showcased the intensity and competitive spirit of Sunshine State basketball. Despite their valiant efforts, the Lions ultimately fell short, with a final score of 60-77.
 
From the tip-off, both teams showed their offensive arsenal, trading baskets in a high-paced first half. The Lions managed to maintain a narrow lead, heading into halftime with a score of 33-31. Kanon Koster led the charge for Saint Leo, displaying his shooting touch with 17 points, supported by Logan Ryan's 15 points contribution. Grant Disken pitched in 12 points as he eclipsed the 1,000-point mark in his career.  
 
 
Despite the loss, the Lions displayed resilience and determination throughout the game, refusing to back down against a tough opponent. This matchup saw 18 lead changes as the two teams went back and forth.
 
The Lions look to bounce back as they regroup for another home matchup against Palm Beach Atlantic at the Marion Bowman Center on Wednesday February 21^st. Tipoff is slated to start at 7:30 p.m.
