SAINT LEO, Fla. – The third-ranked Saint Leo University men's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 blanking of Warner University on Tuesday evening. The Lions improved to 4-0 on the season following the win at the Saint Leo Tennis Center.
Saint Leo and Warner split the first two doubles matches with the Lions' number two doubles team of
Dylan Andrianaly and
Jinsei Tajima posting a 6-2 win. Eliott Jarosz and
Timothy Barrow won the tiebreaker 7-5 for a 7-6 victory. Warners only win on the night came at number on doubles.
The Lions swept the six singles matches as all six matches were finished in two sets.
Kodai Kato (6-0, 6-1) clinched the match for Saint Leo at number five singles as he dropped only a single game in the second set.
