Daytona Beach, Fla. – The Saint Leo University volleyball team (8-4, 3-3 SSC) dropped Thursday night's match on the road in four sets against Embry-Riddle University (10-3, 4-1 SSC).
Embry Riddle University took the match against Saint Leo by set scores of 25-20, 13-25, 16-25, 21-25.
Julia Panko and
Reagan Hopp led the attack for the Green and Gold with 11 and 10 kills.
Kennedy DeLuca put down a team-high four blocks.
Tajma Muharemovic took on the setting responsibilities recording double-digit assists with 25, improving her season count to 155.
The Lions hung in tough all night showing a lot of grit, but in the end, the Eagles were a little too much to handle. The Lions look to bounce back with a quick turnaround.
The Lions will now face Palm Beach Atlantic in a home conference matchup at the Marion Bowman Athletics Center. The Lions and Sailfish will take to the court at 7 p.m.
