ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – After a weather delay made a doubleheader become a single contest, the #13 Saint Leo University softball team was fueled by pairs of RBIs from Fifth-year outfielder
Bayley Williams and Junior infielder
Alexandra Hare as the Lions defeated Flagler College 7-1 Wednesday evening at Flagler Field.
Saint Leo (34-6, 15-3 SSC) recorded 13 hits at the dish, as Hare went 3-for-5 and Williams 2-for-5. Junior catcher
Madyson Coe was 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Kayla Betts (18-1) threw a complete game, allowing three hits and one run while fanning 12.
A trio of runs propelled the Lions to a 3-0 lead, starting with by Sophomore outfielder
Caroline Barwick's fourth RBI of the season.
Williams brought in the Green & Gold's lone run in the fourth inning, followed by RBI singles from Coe and Sophomore infielder
Shyanne Waller two innings later.
After the Saints (12-24, 7-11 PBC) found themselves a run in the bottom of the sixth, Saint Leo added an insurance run in the seventh with Hare's second RBI of the day to solidify a 7-1 win.
The Lions will have a little over a week to prepare before the team is back in action April 13-14, facing Lynn in Sunshine State Conference play.
