Saint Leo, FL – The #2 Saint Leo University Men's tennis team push past #16 Grand Valley State with a 6-1 victory.
 
In doubles action, the duo of Ivan Marrero and Luis Iriarte led the way with a 6-1 win. They were followed by a 6-3 win from the duo of Nicolas Bacella and Ghali Mensour.
 
In singles action, the Lions won five out of six matches to close out the day.
 
#27 Martin Soukal led the way in the second flight with a 6-3, 7-5 win.
 
Tao Castillo earned a 6-1, 6-1 win as the last of the Green & Gold's victories of the day.
 
The Lions closed out Grand State Valley and finished on top 6-1.
 
They are next in action on March 11th to take on Wayne State University. The match will take place at Saint Leo University with the start time scheduled for 11:00am.
