SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's basketball team win streak comes to an end after an SSC loss to Embry-Riddle University 77-66.

After the loss, the Lions are now 11-11 overall and 4-11Â in Sunshine State Conference play.

Things started off brightly for the Lions as they ended the first quarter with a lead of 22-15 after a solid performance of 3-6 from behind the arc.

The third quarter was a mix of the start as both teams fought back and forth to keep things as a three-point game going into the fourth. The Green & Gold shot 4-7 from behind the arc.

The fourth quarter was where the Eagles pulled away after a dominant 24-10 run throughout the quarter closed it out.

The final score was 77-66 with the Lions falling to the Eagles.

Junior
Kiki McIntyre finished the game as the lead scorer with 13 points and six boards.

Senior
Amanda Ulrich's return to the court after missing the game versus Palm Beach saw her end with 11 points.

Fifth year
Alex Button was 3-6 from three point range and finished the game with 12 points.

Saint Leo will next be in action on the road on February 8th versus Tampa University in a SSC matchup. Tip-Off is scheduled for 5:30pm.
