SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's basketball team victorious over Florida Southern by a score of 71-59.

After the victory, the Lions are now 14-13 overall and 7-13Â in Sunshine State Conference play.
Before the game, we saw Senior
Amanda Ulrich honored for breaking the Saint Leo Women's Basketball record for All-Time points.

The first quarter was back and forth between the two teams with Saint Leo having the slight advantage of 20-19 after one.

The second quarter saw a more defensive performance with Florida Southern slightly outshooting the Lions by three points.

The Mocs went into halftime with a 34-32 lead.

At the start of the second half, the Lions once again had a good defensive performance but the Mocs were still able to outshine on offense.

The fourth and final quarter was where things took a massive turn as Saint Leo was able to secure a strong victory after going on a 26-11 throughout the quarter.

The leading scorer for the Lions was led by
Amanda Ulrich with her 21 points including 2-3 from behind the arc.

The Lions will next be in action back again at the Marion Bowman Activities Center for the last regular season game as they welcome #7 Eckerd. The game is on February 25th with tip-off scheduled for 3:30pm.
