Lions Drop a Four Set Match in Hard-Fought Battle Against the Fighting Knights

Boca Raton, FL – In a closely contested Sunshine State Conference battle, the Saint Leo Lions fought fiercely against Lynn University but ultimately faced a 1-3 defeat. Despite putting up a valiant effort, the Lions were unable to secure a victory, bringing their season record to 9-19 overall and 4-15 in the conference.
 
 
Saint Leo Lions - Individual Performances:
  • Reagan Hopp led the Lions with 13 kills, 7 digs, and 2 blocks, showcasing her all-around skills on the court.
  • Kennedy DeLuca contributed 6 kills and 1 block, demonstrating her efficiency at the net.
  • Tajma Muharemovic, recorded 33 assists and 15 digs, leading the team's offensive plays.
  • Julia Panko delivered 10 kills and 7 digs, contributing to the team's offensive and defensive efforts.
  • Jeanette Henderson anchored the Lions' defense with an impressive 19 digs.
 
Despite the Lions' resilience, Lynn University's gameplay and execution ultimately secured their victory. The Lions will regroup and make necessary adjustments as they prepare for their season finale against Barry University. The match is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on November 18th as the Lions look to finish the season strong.
