West Palm Beach, Fla. – The Saint Leo University volleyball team (9-17, 4-13 SSC) dropped a road matchup against Palm Beach Atlantic (11-15, 5-12 SSC). The Sailfish took the match 3-0 against Saint Leo by set scores of 19-25, 23-25, 20-25.
The Lions were led in kills by
Madi Certain and
Reagan Hopp each with 10 and 7 respectively.
Kennedy Deluca led the Lions defensively with six blocks on the night. She was assisted
Julia Panko with four blocks.
Tajma Muharemovic orchestrated the Saint Leo offense with a team-high 15 assists.
Jeanette Henderson also pitched in 12 digs of her own.
The Lions return home on Tuesday, Nov. 14 to take on the Fighting Knights of Lynn University. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Marion Bowman Activities Center.
