SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo University Men's soccer team had trouble defending the attack of Barry University Saturday night, falling to the Buccaneers 3-1 at Saint Leo University Soccer Field in Sunshine State Conference play.
Despite limiting the Red & Black (6-1-2, 3-0-2 SSC) to seven shots on the night, the Lions (5-5, 0-4 SSC) struggled to capitalize on its 11 shots taken, with only five landing on target.
Sophomore
Noah Kvifte recorded the Lions' lone score of the night with a header towards the left side of the net thanks to a brilliant setup from Graduate Forward
Miguel Fernandez in the 60th minute.
Barry scored two quick goals in the 11th and 14th minutes before posting its third in the 74th minute.

Saint Leo is back on the pitch Wednesday as the team hits the road to Boca Raton, Fla. to face Lynn University. Kickoff against the Knights is slated for 6 p.m.
