WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Saint Leo University Men's soccer team struggled to find its rhythm Wednesday night, dropping a 4-0 decision to Rollins College at Cahall Sandspur Field and Barker Family Stadium.
Saint Leo (5-4, 0-3 SSC) could not overcome a Rollins' (6-1-1, 2-1 SSC) backline that allowed just four total shots to the Green & Gold. The Lions made the best of their limited chances, with three shots landing on target.
Graduate Goalkeeper
Ricardo Ceballos tallied seven saves on the night, as Saint Leo faced 19 total shots from the Tars.
The first half was scoreless for all but the final 15 seconds, as Rollins' Georgios Koliniatis slotted the shot to give RC a 1-0 lead into the half.
Koliniatis again would post another score to extend the lead in the 72nd minute before the Tars would post two more goals in seven-minute increments to take the 4-0 and its second SSC win of the season.
The setback keeps the Lions winless in conference play.
