SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference released the 2022 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Teams on Friday, April 29. Among the 47 student-athletes recognized was Saint Leo attacker,
Tyler Eames recording his second consecutive season as a second-team member.
The attacker from Whitby, Ontario compiled 50 points scoring 33 goals and 17 assists in 10 games. He wrapped up his senior season with a .758 shot on goal percentage after 62 takes. Eames added a pair of caused turnovers and picked up 18 groundballs to his campaign.
Eames opened up the season with five consecutive seven-point performances against Flagler, Frostburg State, Newberry, Florida Tech, and Florida Southern. He netted a double hat-trick against Flagler and Frostburg state and found the back of the net five times against Newberry and Embry-Riddle.
The All-SSC Second Team accolade follows a pair of national nods as a member of the USILA Team of the Week (3/23, 4/14).
While wearing the Green and Gold, Eames racked up 140 points (94g, 46a) between 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 seasons; translating to 41 games in the midst of the pandemic.
