SAINT LEO, Fla. - Saint Leo Baseball dropped a Tuesday night matchup with the Eckerd Tritons, 16-4, at Thomas B. Southard Stadium in what was a non-SSC ballgame.
One inning made all the difference for Eckerd in their 13th win of the season. In the third inning, the Tritons exploded for 13 runs on 12 hits to take a 13-0 lead over Saint Leo. The Tritons had ten singles, one double, and a grand slam while also taking advantage of miscues on the infield by the Lions, including one error.Â

Saint Leo will now welcome Nova Southeastern to Thomas B. Southard Stadium on Friday night to begin a three-game series between the Lions and Sharks.Â
