SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's basketball team fell 91-74 to the undefeated Nova Southeastern Sharks, who are ranked first in the nation, Wednesday night inside the Marion Bowman Activities Center. The Lions were able to cut the Sharks led to nine points with 3:07 remaining in the game but it wouldn't be enough to upend the Sharks. The midweek Sunshine State Conference decision moved the Green and Gold's overall record to 10-12, 5-10 in the conference.
 
Grant Disken led the Lions offensive efforts with 18 points followed by Jared Coomer (14), Francis Sio (13), and Cantia Rahming (12). Rahming wrapped up the night just shy of a double-double with a game-high nine rebounds. Wade Coomer also snagged nine rebounds with eight defensive boards.
 
Saint Leo will look ahead to Saturday, Feb 12 when the Lions travel to Winter Park, Fla. to meet the Tars of Rollins College. The weekend SSC tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m.
