ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Saint Leo men's soccer traveled to Eckerd College for a Sunshine State Conference tilt where the Green and Gold's two-game win streak came to an end with a 1-0 loss to the Tritons at Johnson Field.
Saint Leo (2-6-1, 1-2-0 SSC) ripped off 14 shots with nine on frame while Eckerd (2-6-0, 1-2-0 SSC) converted one in the 87th-minute with just two shots on frame, nine total for the night.
Four Lions ripped a shot on frame paced by
Arthur Bergami and
Federico Tellechea with three apiece while
Miguel Fernandez recorded two and
Tiago Cordeiro one.
Mauro Diaz and
Noah Kvifte each tallied one shot on the night for the Green and Gold.
Between the pipes,
Riccardo Zarri played the full time while tallying one save and allowed one goal.
Blake Bauer for the Tritons put the game-winner in the back of the net while he led Eckerd with four total shots, two on goal.
