Men’s Soccer Suffers Overtime Heartbreaker against Eagles

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's soccer team produced a valiant effort battling with the Embry-Riddle Eagles for 104:14 minutes in front of an electric crowd Saturday night. Despite efforts, the Lions fell short in a 1-0 overtime decision.

The Eagles (2-3) claimed the overtime thriller in with a service from the left side of the field by Nelson Andres Pusquin, who dished the ball up high in the box where it was met by Nathan Hubbs.

The Lions (0-5-1) offense was paced by Noah Knifte with two shots on goal. As a unit, the Green and Gold registered seven shots.
