LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The Saint Leo Lions ended up on the wrong side of a low-scoring men's soccer game at West Alabama Sunday afternoon. The Tigers' penalty kick goal in the 39
th minute would prove to be enough to claim the 1-0Â decision.

Saint Leo (0-3-1) outshot West Alabama (2-1) by three, firing off nine shots, two on frame.
Arthur Bergami paced the efforts with three shots in 67 minutes of work. Meanwhile, his teammates,
Noah Kvifte and
Noah Nixon each added a pair of shots to the mix.Â

Riccardo Zarri earned his second start of the season in the net. The graduate student from Cortemilia, Italy faced six shots in 90 minutes of action.Â

Saint Leo returns to the Sunshine State but will continue play on the road. The Lions are slated to kickoff at Rollins on Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 7:00 p.m. in a non-conference meeting.
