Quotables
"We calmed down, we got multiple stops, and took advantage of transitions when we got the opportunity. We scored on the run and that is what we are good at," explained head coach
Anthony Crocitto when asked how the team overcame being down double-digits. "We intentionally made decisions to speed Lynn up and get the rebounds when they missed."
Â
"I have one of the best guards in the county,
Amanda Ulrich. We have five players that can all score 20 points. Plus, we got a big three off the bench from
Abby Zeitsiff and an open look from
Lenise Santiago. It's an immortal buy in," said Crocitto. "They buy into everything and good things happen when you do that."
Â
"The crowd was awesome tonight and we will need them in hosting Eckerd," continued Crocitto. Eckerd will visit the Bowman Center as the Sunshine State Conference second-seed and regionally-ranked program." The confidence factor has to work and we got to be disciplined against everything Eckerd does because they are so good. We will need to come out and do what we got to do early."
