SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Oracle Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II Women's National Team Rankings named the Saint Leo women's tennis team No. 6 to start the 2020 season. Saint Leo was joined by three fellow Sunshine State Conference (SSC) members in the top-10: No. 1 Barry with seven first place votes, No. 2 Lynn with one first place vote, and No. 5 Nova Southeastern.
 
Saint Leo earned a 20-7 overall record in 2019, going 8-2 in the SSC. During the Fall Individual Season, members of the Green and Gold competed in the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish Invitational, ITA Regionals, the Youth Tennis Foundation (YTF) Intercollegiate Championship, and the Stetson Hatter Invitational.
 
The Lions are slated to open the season at the Saint Leo Tennis Center on Saturday, February 8 at 11:00 a.m. hosting the Saints of Flagler College.
