SAINT LEO, Fla. — The Saint Leo university women's tennis fell to the Florida Southern Moccasins women's tennis 6–1 at home.
Florida Southern took early control by claiming the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3, despite a strong 6–1 victory from Candice Bernier and Catherine Rabatin at the top spot for Saint Leo.
Saint Leo's lone point came at No. 1 singles, where Candice Bernier delivered a solid performance with a 6–2, 6–4 win.
The Lions were competitive in several positions but couldn't convert key moments, ultimately falling to 6–1. Saint Leo moves to 6–13 on the season following the loss.
