JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's and women's track teams posted seven top-10 finishes at the University of North Florida Invitational Friday. Sophomore
Shane Bracken led the men with a second place finish in the 1,500m Invite while senior
Laura Tobin and freshman
Aoife Mahony led the women after finishing eighth in the 5,000m and 800m, respectively.

 Bracken competed in the Invite which was only open to the top runners at the competition and he nearly won the event as he finished second with a time of 3:52.17. Three other Lions competed in the regular 1,500m as freshman
Noah Quintana led the trio with a fourth place finish after stopping the clock at 4:07.06. Junior
Blake Watson crossed the line next in seventh at 4:08.17 while sophomore
Hunter Chavis took 14
th in 4:15.09.

Mahony was the lone Lion in the women's 800m as she took eighth after completing her two laps in 2:17.29.

Tobin on the other hand was one of three Lions in the 5,000m. She placed eighth with a time of 18:37. 03 while junior
Ashley Lindeman came in right behind in ninth after stopping the clock at 18:38.71. Senior
Noemi Anaya was the final Lion to complete the distance as she took 13
th in 18:49.16.

Freshman
Clement Goujon was the final Lion in action as he took eighth in the 5,000m. The Malaunay, France native posted a time of 15:54.69.

The Lions will be back in action next weekend at the University of Miami for a two-day meet.
