The must-win decision also kept Saint Leo in the running for a SSC postseason appearance.

Florida Tech edged Saint Leo 4-3 after one quarter. The Lions claimed the lead in the second quarter outscoring the Panthers 5-3 for a halftime advantage of 8-7.
