SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's lacrosse team returned to the win column Wednesday night rolling over the Florida Southern Moccasins; 23-14. The Sunshine State Conference midweek victory raised the Lions to 8-5 on the season, 3-2 in the SSC.
Thomas Tatarian earned a season-high 23 saves while the offense outscored the Mocs in every quarter. Tatarian's work inflated the tight shot count as Florida Southern out-shot Saint Leo 53-52.
Charlie Kurtenbach dished out five assists while scoring a hat-trick as the team's point leader with eight.
Matt Shand and
Philip Buque each handed in big six-point performances followed by
Tyler Eames with five goals.
