SAINT LEO, Fla – The Saint Leo men's tennis team extended their win streak to eight after defeating Florida Tech 6-1 Thursday afternoon.
Florida Tech earned the double match point, winning Flights 1 and 2. Doubles Flight 3
Ghali Mensour and
Bruno Babic defeated their opponents 6-2.
Leading off for the Lions in the number one singles spot was #30
Bruno Faletto, earning a 6-2, 6-4 victory. Mensour won second singles 6-1, 6-0.
Aurel Ciocanu played at third singles and brought home a win with a score of 6-1, 6-0.
Noel Kunz defeated his opponent 6-2, 6-1.
Willem Van Den Akker rolled over his opponent 6-4, 7-6.
David Perez earned a 6-3, 6-0 win.
The Lions return to action away at No.1 Barry on Saturday, March 23 at 3:00 p.m. in a Sunshine State Conference showdown.
