SAINT LEO, Fla. – No. 7 Saint Leo men's tennis opens its 2019 campaign on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 3 p.m. against Gustavus Adolphus.
 
2019 Roster…
Returning senior Bruno Babic finished 2018 with a 13-6 record in singles play. He saw action in four different flights going 1-0 at flight no. 3, 10-6 at no. 4, 1-0 at no. 5 and 1-0 at no. 6.

Junior Willem Van Den Akker earned Sunshine State Conference (SSC) doubles second-team honors with Jaime Bueno. The duo finished 14-4 in singles play.
Sophomore Aurel Ciocanu finished 1-0 in singles at flight no.6 after overcoming an injury. He also finished 5-3 in flight no. 2 doubles with Francisco Aparicio.
 
Sunshine State Conference…
After a perfect 8-0 run as the 2018 SSC Regular Season Champions, the Saint Leo men's tennis team landed the No. 2 seed among the 2019 SSC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Green and Gold closed last season with a 22-2 overall record under head coach Chad Berryhill.
