- No. 8/14 Saint Leo returns to the links after taking 11th at the spring opener, Matlock Classic in Lakeland. Alberto Castagnara led the Lions with an eighth place finish at one-under, 215.Â
- The Lions look to improve on their third place finish from a year ago at their home tournament where the Green and Gold were led by Castagnara who shot a 211 (-5).Â

Women's Basketball Notes
- The Saint Leo Lions fell 63-48 to the Tampa Spartans, ranked fifth in the South Region, on Wednesday.
- Saint Leo was paced by Gina Brierley and Olivia Lough with nine points respectively. Alani Gallagher and Casey Wortley helped with eight points apiece. Gallagher earned a team-high nine rebounds to close out the game just shy of a double-double.
- On the season, Wortley holds a team-high 11 PPG and a team-high 5.9 RPG. She is followed by Brierley's 10 PPG and Gallagher's 5.0 RPG.Â
- Returning from the bye weekend, Saint Leo kicks off the night against the No. 18 Florida Southern Mocs celebrating their two seniors; Asia Royster and Casey Wortley.
- No. 18Â Florida Southern downed Barry 85-60Â on Saturday to clinch the SSC Regular Season Title.Â
- Camille Giardina scored a game-high 21 points, while Julia Jenike (13), Anja Fuchs-Robetin (12), Mackenzie Steele (12), and Mercedez Claybrone (10) also scored in double figures.
- On the season, Giardina averages 19.3 PPG while Fuchs-Robetin hits 17.6 PPG. Fuchs-Robetin also leads the Mocs off the window, snatching 6.5 RPG.Â

Men's Basketball Notes
- Saint Leo hosts Florida Southern for senior night inside the Marion Bowman Activities Center. The Lions will honor Daniel Duarte, Junior Searcy and Pape Ngom for their careers in the Green and Gold.
- The Lions take on the Mocs after dropping their last contest 95-74 to Tampa as Rusty Moorer and Gintaras Bartaskas led the fight with 22 and 15 points, respectively.
- On the year, Kyran McClure paces the team in scoring with 17.3 points per game. Both Searcy and Isaiah Hill join McClure in double-digit averages with 11.3 and 10.6 ppg, respectively.
- Florida Southern enters the midweek matchup after a 92-81 loss to Barry on Saturday. In the loss, four players scored in double-figures led by Ben Marello with 20 points.
- On the year, Jonathan Lawton paces the Mocs with 22.6 points per game. Brett Hanson is second on the team with 17.0 ppg ahead of Slinky Jones with 11.1 ppg.
- Season Matchup: In the first meeting of the year, the Mocs slithered past the Lions 86-83 where Kyran McClure's last second three hit the front rim. McClure scored a then-career-high 30 points in the loss. The Lions held a 53-38 lead at the break before losing the lead in the final 3:46.
