SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's soccer team (7-9) celebrated throughout Saturday at the Saint Leo Soccer Field, beginning with senior day, honoring nine seniors and ending with a 2-0 win over the University of Mary (1-11-1). The Lions were proud to recognize its senior class of 2020;

Christian Evans,
Kevoy Bailey,
Mathis Hardy,
Dion Dozzell,
Elias Niesigk,
Pietro Vagnone,
Roberto Biendicho, and
Guillaume Campos.
Seniors
Mathis Hardy and
Roberto Biendicho wasted no time getting things started against the Marauders. Biendicho put up a beautiful ball across the box where Hardy converted it for the go-ahead goal.
Federico Toschi slick flick goal put the cherry on top in the 63
rd minute, his sixth goal of the season as the Lions' leading scorer.
The Green and Gold overwhelmed the visitors with a 13-8 shot count. Senior goalkeepers
Wessel Berenschot and
Christian Evans earned a combined shutout. Berenschot earned three stops in the first 45 minutes of play followed by Evans with one.
The Lions close the regular season on the road at Florida Southern on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. The Mocs currently sit seventh in the conference standings right above the Lions in the eighth slot.
