SAINT LEO, Fla. – Four members of the Saint Leo women's tennis team were ranked among the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) first top-20 regional rankings of the 2019-2020 season. As members of the south region, Marta Vicens Miquel, Kristyna Jurkova, Nina Furmaniak, and Molly Helgesson were ranked in both singles and doubles, respectively.
 
Junior Marta Vicens Miquel earned a No. 6 singles rank alongside a No. 7 doubles ranking with teammate senior Kristyna Jurkova. Jurkova also drew a top-10 singles ranking at No. 8.
 
Sophomore Nina Furmaniak enters the season ranked No. 17 in singles play paired with a No. 4 doubles ranking with newcomer Molly Helgesson. Transferring to Saint Leo as a sophomore, Helgesson captured a No. 18 singles ranking.
 
The ITA is slated to release national singles and doubles rankings on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019 followed by a national team poll on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020.
