SAINT LEO, Fla.- The Saint Leo women's tennis program landed the number three spot in the Sunshine State Conference Coaches' Preseason Poll.

Saint Leo received 80 points. The number one and two spots belong to Barry (100 points) and Lynn (90 points). Behind Saint Leo was Nova Southeastern (73 points), Florida Southern (64 points), Rollins (58 points), Embry-Riddle (37 points), Tampa (36 points), Florida Tech (29 points), Palm Beach Atlantic (28 points), and Eckerd (10 points).

The Lions return three players from the 2018 roster, including Freshman of the Year Marta Vicens Miquel, Madeleine Gauthier and Kristyna Jurkova.

Saint Leo opens their season at home on Tuesday, February 5 against Gustavus Adolphus at 3:00 p.m.
