Second half woes hand women’s soccer 3-0 road loss

Melbourne, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's soccer team saw a scoreless halftime slip away at Florida Tech. The Panthers' late offensive surge topped the Lions' efforts 3-0 on the road.
 
Saint Leo (2-6, 1-3 SSC) pressed Florida Tech (5-5-1, 2-2 SSC) with 16 shots, eight on frame from eight different Lions, six corner kicks, and forcing eight saves.

The Panthers pounced in the 64th, 67th and 82nd minutes.
 
Julia Ortiz made two stops in 90 minutes of work.
 
The Lions return home on Wednesday, October 3 to host Eckerd at 7 p.m.
