SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's lacrosse team announced its 2019 schedule on Friday. The 17 game slate features 12 home games under the direction of third year head coach
Caitlin Hansen.
Hansen and the Lions will open 2019 against Rockhurst University. The season opening draw control is scheduled for Friday, February 15 at 7 p.m., at University Turf Stadium.
Saint Leo opens play in the Sunshine State Conference against Embry-Riddle on Saturday, March 30 at 1 p.m., to close an eight-straight home game run. In addition to the Eagles, the Green and Gold will host SSC opponents Florida Southern and Rollins. The Lions will face Palm Beach Atlantic, Tampa and Florida Tech on the road. Saint Leo finished fifth among SSC standings in 2018 going 11-6 overall, 2-4 in the SSC.
