NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The IWLCA has named 357 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as IWLCA Academic Honor Squads for the 2025-26 academic year. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
Saint Leo Women's lacrosse not only was named as an Academic Honor Squad but also had 15 student athletes named to the Division II Academic Honor Roll.
The following Saint Leo student-athletes were recognized for their excellence in the classroom by earning a spot on the IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll. Junior Briana Bellando, a Sport Business major; Graduate Student Sydney Brown, a Business Administration major; Junior Emma Buthorn, a Management major; Junior Julia Charvat, a Criminal Justice major; Senior Marina Dean, a Biology/Biomedical and Health Sciences major; Senior Meredith Eitel, an Education major; Senior Jessica Harclerode, an Elementary Education major; Senior Holly Hill, a Criminal Justice major; Senior Emelia Lowe, a Computer Science major; Senior Jana Nuss, a Management major; Graduate Student Olivia Purdy, a Criminal Justice Critical Incident Management major; Junior Abby Richards, an Accounting major; Graduate Student Julia Sharp, an Educational Leadership major; Graduate Student Parker Surace, a Business Administration major; and Senior Sophia Wood, an Accounting major.
