SAINT LEO, Fla. – No. 18 Florida Southern downed the Saint Leo men's soccer team 3-1 in a Sunshine State Conference match Saturday night.
The Lions (2-5, 0-3 SSC) were unable to capitalize on a 35-minute man-up situation after a soft red card was issued to the Moccasins (7-0, 3-0 SSC). Instead, the Green and Gold saw the visitors add two more goals to their lead.
Hermon Constant became the second person allowed by the Mocs' defense to score in 2018. Constant, assisted by
Michael Tinari found the open pocket on the left side of the net, earning his first goal of the season.
The Lions return to Saint Leo Soccer Field on Wednesday, September 26 at 7 p.m. to host non-conference opponent, Trinity Baptist.
