Women's Soccer Notes
  • Saint Leo ended up on the wrong side of a second half battle at Embry-Riddle on Saturday. The 2-1 SSC opener handed the Lions their third-straight loss.
  • Carolina Solis-Deleon scored the first goal of the game, her second of the season as the team's leading scorer.
  • In the net, Julia Ortiz has collected 19 saves while facing 48 shots. She enters Wednesday's match with a 1.58 goals against average, posting a .704 save percentage.
  • Palm Beach Atlantic's three-game win streak was snapped by Florida Tech on Saturday in Melbourne, Fla. The Panthers handed the Sailfish a 3-0 loss.
  • Jaycie Tate leads the Sailfish offense with five goals off 14 shots. She is supported by Thorkatia Halldorsdottir with one goal, five assists.
  • Jez Rubalcava has earned five game starts in the net. Rubalcava has made 16 saves while facing 23 shots. Madison Chiola has started in two games, where she has collected six saves off nine shots faced.

Men's Soccer Notes
  • Saint Leo looks to return to the win column after a 2-1 loss to Embry-Riddle on Saturday during the Lions' home opener.
  • Mathis Hardy scored the Lions' goal off a free kick in the 80th minute. Hardy, Kentin Olive and Michael Tinari each took two shots to lead the offensive efforts.
  • On the season, Elias Niesigk leads the offense with two goals, two assists.  
  • Christian Evans has earned all five starts in goal. He enters the week with 10 saves after facing 39 shots. Evans has compiled a 2.16 goals against average while posting a .526 save percentage. Wessel Berenschot has seen action in two games. He enters the week with one save, a 1.23 goals against average and a .500 save percentage.
  • No. 5 Palm Beach Atlantic remains undefeated after downing Florida Tech 3-2 on Saturday at home.
  • FIT's bookend goals weren't enough to overcome PBA's trio of offensive performance. Sailfish Caludio Rivadeneira (21'), Marc Hebbeker (36'), and Cadu Cusatis (51') scored in PBA's first SSC win.
  • Rivadeneira leads the Sailfish offense on the early season with four goals, three assists.
  • Goalkeeper, Elliott Barker, earned four saves against the Panthers, for a season total of 23. Barker enters the week with a 0.50 goals against average while posting a .800 save percentage.
