- Saint Leo hits the road this weekend for a pair of Sunshine State Conference matches at Barry and Lynn.Â
- This past week, the Lions garnered two of the three SSC weekly awards as sophomore outside hitter Ashley Quero was named Offensive Player of the Week and freshman setter Cassandra Kamien took home Setter of the Week honors. Quero has been the consistent offense leader for the Lions this season and enters the weekend averaging 2.78 kills per set. Kamien recently took over the full-time setter role and has had back-to-back double-doubles with 50-plus assists in each match. Â
- Saint Leo swept both Barry and Lynn last season. The last loss to Barry by the Lions came Nov. 12, 2016 at Barry in a five set affair. The last loss to the Fighting Knights came that same season on Nov. 11, 2016 in another five set match.  Â
- Barry is off to the best start in program history at a perfect 10-0. The Buccaneers have lost just three sets all season but two of the three came in their most recent match with Lynn, a 3-2 victory. Tierney Ward leads the offense at 3.43 kills per set. She is one of five Buccaneers averaging over 2.40 kills per set.
- Lynn opened the season 6-1 but has dropped its last two matches, a 3-1 loss at nationally-ranked Palm Beach Atlantic and the 3-2 loss versus Barry at home. Sonja Udovcic paces the Fighting Knights with 4.11 kills per set this season while Rafaela Fonseca has chipped in 3.20.   Â

- Saint Leo dropped a tough game against Queens (N.C.) on Sunday 2-0.
- Freshman Caitlin Strong leads the Lions in points with three on the season.
- Julia Ortiz racked up 18 saves during the first four games of the season. Ortiz saw 45 shots and has earned a .750 save percentage and a 1.48 goals against average in over 365 minutes of work.Â
- Embry-Riddle is currently on a two-game win streak after beating #21 Flagler 2-1 and Tusculum 1-0 last weekend.
- Savanna Sheahan leads the Eagles with two goals and four points. Rachel Owens has assisted on two of the three goals on the year.Â

- Saint Leo split last weekend after beating Montevallo and then falling to West Florida. The loss moved the Lions' overall record to 2-2.
- Dion Dozzell and Elias Niesigk lead the offensive attack with six points apiece.
- Goalkeeper Christian Evans has started all four games for the Lions and enters the weekend with eight saves.
- Embry-Riddle is coming in at 1-2 overall after dropping a 4-1 decision to Nova Southeastern on Wednesday.Â
- Tim-Frederik Lange leads the team in points with three points on the year.
