#6 men’s lacrosse rallies for comeback win at Florida Southern

LAKELAND, Fla. –  No. 6 Saint Leo Lions second half rally topped the Florida Southern Moccasins 12-10 on Wednesday in Lakeland, Fla. Saint Leo overcame the slow start thanks to a third quarter three goal run to level the scoreboard and a four goal rally in the fourth to steal the win. The conference victory raised the Lions' overall record to 10-1, 4-0 in the Sunshine State Conference.

Saint Leo's comeback was led by Charlie Kurtenbach with four goals, one assist, including scoring the second goal in the three goal run in the third and scored again during the Lions' four goal victory rally.

"We needed to relax and play our game," explained head coach Brad Jorgensen. "We got a little spooked at the start when their goalkeeper made some really nice saves early."

"We are worried about Saturday now. Lynn has a great faceoff guy and we will need to figure out how to play a complete 60-minute game," concluded Jorgensen.
