Men's Tennis Notes
- Saint Leo was honored at No. 4, moving up from No. 7, in the Oracle Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II rankings released on Tuesday.Â
- The Lions' perfect 10-0 start highlighted an upset over No. 1 defending national champions, West Florida. The 5-4 win put an end to West Florida's 20 consecutive home victory streak.
- Within the No. 4 Saint Leo Lions team are four national rankings; three individual and one doubles. Thomas Grinberg was named the best men's tennis player in all of Division II. The No. 1 ranked Grinberg is 10-0 overall at no. 1 singles. Vincent Suillerot is ranked No. 20 for his work no. 2 singles. Bruno Babic was tabbed No. 74. The junior has compiled a 7-2 singles record after earning a no. 4 5-2 record, no. 5 1-0 and no. 6 1-0 finishes. No. 1 doubles Thomas Grinberg and Vincent Suillerot were selected as the No. 21 most effective duo. Together they enter the week with a 6-3 record.
- Jaime Bueno earned his first Sunshine State Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week of the 2017-18 season on Monday, his third all-time selection. Bueno generated a stainless 7-0 record during the 4-0 match work week.
- No. 30 Washburn is led by no. 1 singles Aleja Valarezo Plaza who has yet to be beaten, going 8-0 for the Ichabods.
- Valarezo Plaza and Blake Hunter at no. 1 doubles are 7-1.
- On Wednesday, Washburn swept Oberlin 9-0, reentering the win column after a 7-2 loss to the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
- On Saturday, March 24 Saint Leo will get another chance to upset a number one ranked team. The Lions will host No. 1 Barry, returning the Sunshine State Conference competition.
- No. 1 Barry will face Rollins on Friday before Saint Leo on Saturday.
- The Buccaneers are led by no. 1 singles Pierre Montrieul who is 7-1 overall. Barry has combined for 12 different doubles teams for an overall team doubles record of 22-14.

Women's Tennis Notes
- Saint Leo jumped from No. 13 to No. 10 among the Oracle Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings released on Wednesday, March 21.
- The Lions highlighted a five match win streak while accumulating a season record of 9-3. They enter the week with one straight win after Sunday's 5-4 win over Georgia College.
- No. 1 doubles partners Maja Pindelska and Madeleine Gauthier were named the sixth most dangerous duo. Ranked No. 6, Pindelska and Gauthier hold a 6-1 record together.
- In singles play, Marta Vicens Miquel drew a No. 46 national ranking. The freshman from Port De Pollensa, Spain enters the week with no. 1 singles 8-4 record.
- Washburn dropped a 5-4 decision to the University of Nebraska at Kearney on Friday. The loss snapped a six match.
- No. 1 singles Alexis Czapinski carries a 9-1 record. No. 3 Jacqueli Engelbrecht has also obtained a 9-1 season mark.
- No. 1 doubles duo, Cazpinski and Logan Morrissey have only dropped one match together.

- Saint Leo track heads to USF for the USF Bulls Invitational where the Lions are coming off individuals performing at the UCF Black and Gold Challenge.
- Niclas Bez and Tadgh McGinty ran for the Lions where McGinty took second in the 3,000-steeplechase with a time of 9:35.84. Bez earned a 12th place finish in the 1500m at 4:05.56.
- Lauren Csubak took home seventh in the 800m with a time of 2:18.34 to wrap up competition for the Lions at the UCF meet.
- At the USF Bull Invite, Joshua Sickinger will look to run an NCAA provisional in the 3,000-steeplechase where Bez looks to do the same in the 800m. Csubak will take to the track in the 800, and will look to break the Saint Leo school record of 2:18.24.

Women's Lacrosse Notes
- Saint Leo continues to climb the Nike/US Lacrosse Division II rankings. Monday's poll tagged the 7-1 Lions at No. 17, moving up from their previous No. 19 spot.
- The Lions last played on Monday, March 12, earning a 19-7 win over American International College. Leslie Ferguson netted seven goals, one assist, resetting Saint Leo's record for most goals scored in a game and becoming the program's second highest holder in points earned in a single game. Saint Leo also celebrated Abbie Ross, the fourth Lion in program history to reach 100 points.Â
- Leslie Ferguson has racked up 33 goals, 10 assists for 43 points. Sarah Pierson has won 56 draw controls on the season and 31 ground balls. In the net, Erin Davis has collected 35 saves. She enters the week with a 7-0 goalkeeping record.
- NYIT enters the week No. 19 in the WLCA coaches poll on Monday. The following day, the Bears defeated No. 15 Tampa, 8-7, to snap the Spartans' six-game winning streak.
- Alyssa Milano leads NYIT's scoring with 31 goals along with 35 draw controls. Karie Znaniecki has compiled 45 points from 22 goals, 23 assists. In goal, Ashley Miller is 5-2 after tallying 43 saves.
- Young Harris hosts Saint Leo after tallying a 21-8 win over Embry-Riddle. Kendra Parenteau has scored 28 goals, assisted in 15. Rachel Lepine leads the Mountain Lions' draw control game with 44. Julia Darroch and Rachel Robb share the goalkeeper responsibilities for a combined 101 saves.
- Wingate hosts Saint Leo on Sunday after a tight 12-11 loss to Catawba on Wednesday. Kendall Wells leads the Bulldogs offense scoring 33 goals, five assists. In goal, Arion Pierre holds a 9-9 record. She has grabbed 104 saves.

- Saint Leo Beach Volleyball opens play at home for the first time in program history with a five-team, two-day tournament.Â
- The Lions welcome in No. 13 Florida International, Jacksonville, Eckerd, Florida Southern at the Saint Leo Beach Volleyball Courts.Â
- In their last outing, the Lions went 1-1 with a 3-2 loss to Stevenson before defeating Florida Southern 4-1 in Lakeland.Â
- Saint Leo saw two pairs of players go undefeated on the day where Annabella Arcari and Allie Daul teamed up to win both matches at the no. 5 doubles where Paloma Da Silva and Britt Sederholm teamed up to win both matches at no. 4's.

Softball Notes
- No. 20Â Softball looks to bounce back in Sunshine State Conference play after dropping a road SSC series at Eckerd over the weekend. The Lions dropped the series opener 5-2 before taking game two 5-4. Tied at 2-2, the Tritons singled up the middle to walk-off in eight innings to take the series 2-1 with a 3-2 finale.Â
- Kacie Kelly paces the Lions offensively from the no. 2 hole with a .420 batting average with 33 runs scored. Kelly has hit 13 doubles, one triple and drove in 19 RBI.Â
- Ashley Morris is tied with Kelly in RBI (19) where the duo trail Bethany Kursch at 22 on the season. Morris has a .394 batting average with 25 runs scored.Â
- In the circle for the Lions Auria Mounts has appeared in 23 games with 12 starts with a 11-5 record on the season. Alison Mitts is 7-4 on the year with a team-leading 1.68 ERA where Mounts is second with a 2.32 ERA. Mitts leads the team with 83 strikeouts on the season, ahead of Mounts' 58.Â
- Lynn comes into the matchup having dropped its last four games, three to then-no. 13 Palm Beach Atlantic.Â
- The Fighting Knights are led by Francais Olexa both from the box and from the circle. Olexa has a team best ERA (2.39) and batting average (.386). Olexa has 34 hits with 20 runs scored, but just six RBI. She has seven doubles and two triples to her credit in 88 at-bats. From the mound, Olexa is 6-5 in 19 appearances and 85 innings pitched. She has allowed 84 hits with 39 runs and has tallied 50 strikeouts.Â

- Saint Leo returns to action after taking second at the Christian Brothers Buccaneer Spring Classic at Germantown Country Club with a 925 team total.
- Amanda Jakobsson tied for first with a 229 (+13) total, leading the way where Synne Lauritzen was second with a sixth place finish, 232 (+16).

- No. 10Â men's lacrosse took down no. 16 Lindenwood last Wednesday with a final score of 17-12
- The Lions will have had 10 days of rest in between games before they host conference foe Embry-Riddle this Saturday.
- While Jake Gilmour celebrated another milestone last week ,100 career goals, it was Kyle Pauwels leading the way offensively with seven goals and two assists in the win.
- The 1-2 punch of Pauwels and Gilmour leads the Lions in points with 36 a piece. Charlie Kurtenbach is also in the 30-point club with 17 goals and 14 assists.
- Thomas Tatarian continues to be rock solid for the Lions, posting a 6-1 record. His .599 save percentage in tops in the conference.
- Embry-Riddle has had a tough go in the first season in division II lacrosse as they are coming into Saturday's game with a record of 1-6, 0-1 in the SSC. The Eagles are coming off an 11-5 loss to Palm Beach Atlantic at West Palm Beach.
- Kyle Dalrymple leads the team with 10 goals and 12 points on the year.
