Myrtle Beach, S.C. –
Andrew Sands showcased a 11.30 final time in the 100-meter dash in the final day at the Coastal Carolina Invitational. His mark earned a 22
nd place finish.
Garrett Lischke and
Kenneth Covey represented the Lions in the 200-meter dash. Lischke crossed the line at 26.55 for 46
th place followed by Covey at 27.89 for 47
th place.
Hunter Chavis clinched a 15
th place finish in the 1500 event.
Saint Leo turned in two top five times in the 3000-meter steeple chase.
Joshua Sickinger's 10:05.52 time earned fourth while
Tadgh McGinty finished fifth posting a 10:13.19 time.
On Friday, March 16 the Lions travel to the University of Central Florida to compete in the two-day Black and Gold Challenge.
