ORLANDO, Fla. – Saint Leo freshman
Paige Patterson made her debut in the Green and Gold at the 22nd annual Disney Cross Country Classic Saturday morning and finished in the top-10 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. The Lions finished the race in fifth as a team with 125 points.Â

Patterson took eighth out of the 196 runners in her first race where she finished in a time of 18:49.95. Behind Patterson,
Alyssa Bayliff (23rd, 19:16.67),
Ashley Lindeman (27th, 19:21.61),
Noemi Anaya (36th, 19:37.49),
Laura Tobin (41st, 19:46.85),
Aoife Mahony (53rd, 20:11.53), and
Georgia Clode (57th, 20:18.60) all scored points for the Lions.

Sage Lyons (80th, 20:57.64),
Heidi-Jay Churchill (127th, 22:40.96),
Rebecca Myers (128th, 22:41.21),
Anapaula Rios Rosales (164th, 25:02.78), and
Izabella Van Den Berg (168th, 25:21.73) all took part in the race for the Green and Gold.

The Lions will look to South Florida Invitational on Oct. 12 in Tampa, Fla. to close out the regular season.
