Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men's Soccer falls at the hands of #9 Palm Beach Atlantic

SAINT LEO, Fla. – Three first half goals by the No. 9 Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish proved to be too much for the Saint Leo men's soccer team as the Lions fell 3-0 Wednesday evening at University Soccer Field to move to 1-1 in Sunshine State Conference play.

A late start on offense, the Lions pressure picked up in the second half where they tallied all five of their shots in the second period, compared to their counterparts who ripped off 10 in the first half and parked the bus in the second with just two.

Freshman Wessel Berenschot suffered the loss in goal but picked up two saves on the night. The Lions won the corner kick battle with five to three, but couldn't capitalize.
