SAINT LEO, Fla. –Sunshine State Conference opponent, Lynn University, topped Saint Leo women's basketball 67-52, ending the Lions' six-game winning streak on Saturday.
Efforts were led by
Ragen Dotson with 15 points and
Alani Gallagher with 10 points, eight rebounds. The Lions were unable to finish the battle with a six-point fourth quarter.
The loss hands Saint Leo a 7-7 overall record, 2-4 in the SSC before heading to Barry University (10-2, 3-1 SSC) on Wednesday, January 3 at 5:30 p.m.
"Games after the break are always hit or miss. Today, we were up and down and not very consistent," said head coach
Anthony Crocitto. "We will work to ready ourselves for 2018 as we have a very long and hard schedule to come. I'm proud of how we played this month and am confident our ladies will bounce back."
