BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's basketball team rolled over Coastal Georgia, 74-50 on Monday to close out play at the Lynn University Holiday Classic. 

Ragen Dotson tied her career-high, showcasing a 30-point performance in Saint Leo's 24-point win against the Mariners, which pushed the Lions' win streak to six games.

"I cannot be more proud of the 13 in our locker room right now," said head coach Anthony Crocitto. "They epitomize what 'buying in' is all about. I cannot stop smiling as I see a legitimate commitment to defense, sharing and caring."

Crocitto went on to add, "Ragen Dotson was awesome this weekend while Gina Brierley dominated most categories across the board. Izabell Skoogh proved to be the x-factor, hitting big shots and energizing us off the bench."

• Dotson went 8-10 FG, 4-6 3-FG, 10-12 FT, four rebounds, four blocks and two steals during her 30-point day
• Izabell Skoogh and Gina Brierley posted 10-points each. Skoogh sunk two three-pointers going 3-4 from the field, 2-2 on the free throw line. Brierley went 3-6 FG, 4-9 FT and added four assists
• Day Jackson grabbed four rebounds and scored eight points while contributing a block and two steals

• Briana Gipson earned a double double scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds

• Outrebounded the Lions 38-29 with 12 offensive, 26 defensive rebounds
• Was only able to tally eight points in the second quarter, nine in the fourth

Saint Leo returns to the hardwood on Saturday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. in the Marion Bowman Activities Center. In addition to being back home, the Lions reenter competition in the Sunshine State Conference, hosting the Lynn University Fighting Knights.
