MELBOURNE, Fla. – A pair of second half goals by Florida Tech propelled the Panthers past Saint Leo men's soccer, 2-0, in a Sunshine State Conference matchup on Tuesday evening at Rick Stottler Field.
Lopez buried the game-winner in the 51st minute, and the Panthers added an unassisted insurance goal by Mikkel Roeisland in the 86th minute.
Saint Leo was outshot 25-3, with the Panthers holding a 9-2 advantage in shots on goal. Florida Tech had 13 corner kick opportunities to the Lions' two.

- Saint Leo keeper Wessel Berenschot recorded seven saves against the Panthers, the most by the freshman this season.
- Keisuke Ohata took two of the Lions' three total shots on the night, both of which resulted in saves by Panthers keeper Luuk Teurlinx.
- Tuesday's loss was the Lions' third straight defeat at the hands of Florida Tech. Saint Leo's last victory over the Panthers was a 3-2 triumph during the 2014 regular season.
