Men's soccer topped by Sharks

SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo men's soccer fell to Nova Southeastern 2-1 in Sunshine State Conference play at University Soccer Field Saturday night.
 
Guillaume Campos scored in the 13th minute to tie the game up at 1-1 after the Sharks scored in the 10th minute. Devi Ndrita headed a ball back to the backside where Campos found it and put it in the back of the net.

| Noel Johnson put the Sharks up early after Bestun Mohammed played a ball in from the left side where Johnson one-touched it past the keeper for the lead. | Nova Southeastern 1-0 |  
13'| On a ball played in from a corner kick, Devi Ndrita headed the ball back to the backside where Guillaume Campos trapped it and shot it past the Sharks' keeper to tie it at 1-1. | Tied 1-1 |

  • Guillaume Campos scored his third goal of the year in the 13th minute.
  • Devi Ndrita earned his first point of the season with the assist on Campos' goal.
  • Wessel Berenschot tallied four saves on the night with the full 90 minutes of action.

  • Nova Southeastern won the corner battle 8-5 as well as the Sharks outshot the Lions 14-7 in the 90 minutes.
