SAINT LEO, Fla. –
Tyler Palmer's goal in the 89th minute lifted the Saint Leo men's soccer team past West Florida Sunday afternoon at University Soccer Field.
Keisuke Ohata slipped a ball through the box and found Palmer who laced it to the far side of the net for the lone goal in the game.
Following the Lions' goal, the Argonauts rushed down the field and received a corner kick before Saint Leo could fend off the West Florida last chance effort. The two teams played an even match where the Saint Leo edged West Florida in shots 10-8 and corner kicks 6-5.
